If you want to be sure that your donor has not abused any drugs for that time frame, this is the test for you. Most drug abusers are familiar with the many techniques available for beating a urine test. The easiest method, abstaining from using drugs for two or three days before a drug test, will normally produce a negative urine result. With the hair test, simple abstention doesn't work since the hair test detects drug use for months versus usually two or three days for urine. Detection Period Hair analysis can detect drug use for approximately the previous 90 days. Temporary abstention won't beat the test. Evasion Hair testing cannot be evaded as in urinalysis since the drug residue remains permanently entrapped in the hair. Evidence of drug use cannot be washed or bleached out. Collection A cosmetically undetectable snip of hair is easily collected without causing embarrassment.
